DAY 1
Once arrived in Bologna you will meet your Tour Leader at the hotel, get to your room and relax before having an orientation walk.
Welcome dinner will be in a local restaurant with delicious local food (not that hard in Bologna) and wine.

DAY 2
Bologna will amaze you with its architecture and colorful restaurants. Visit and learn about the oldest university in Italy and the wonderful Piazza Maggiore with the Cathedral and the iconic statue of Poseidon.
Enjoy some free time for lunch and shopping in this amazing city and get ready for tonight’s cooking class. In a private apartment hosted by a local you will learn how to prepare a delicious meal and have dinner together.

DAY 3
The powerful and famous Estensi family was from Ferrara. Several Popes and cardinals came from their dynasty and this ensured the city of Ferrara the resources to build beautiful palaces and outstanding public spaces.
After a guided tour, enjoy some free time before heading to a local winery in the area of Bologna for another delicious wine tasting.

DAY 4
Today we will head to Modena! You will learn all about the Pavorotti birth place with our local guide. After some time to explore the city on your own, visit a historical vinegar producer where you will be thought how to appreciate the most typical product of the city of Modena: balsamic vinegar.
Before returning to the hotel, we will stop for a wine tasting combined with local food at a typical Emilia Romagna winery.

DAY 5
On our way to Parma we will first stop in a Parmigiano factory to learn how this famous Italian cheese is made and we will then proceed to a wonderful location for a lunch based on culatello, a typical Emilia-Romagna «prosciutto».

DAY 6
Have a deep immersion in the city of Parma with our local guide and admire its stunning Cathedral famous for the Correggio's frescos. Visit Pilotta Palace, the incredible house of the city museum complex, including the National Gallery, the Archaeological Museum and the unique Farnese Theatre.
Enjoy the farewell dinner in a special location in Parma's countryside. A beautiful ancient property surrounded by hills, an Italian family atmosphere, local cuisine and a lot of fun preparing the dinner together. No better way to end this wonderful experience in Emilia Romagna.

After breakfast, get to the airport with our private transfer.
